The spirit
The guest house is located in the heart of the village of Zmerten. It can be reached by road, but also by hiking the shepherds’ paths from Toujane. Across the street, Ali opened a small museum a few years ago. In this troglodytic family home, he collects everyday objects, tracing the history of the village and its ancient customs.
Let Ali guide you through the history of the Jebel and its age-old traditions. He’ll explain the basics of troglodyte construction and passionately present his collections of farming tools and looms.
